quiet moment of contemplation watching my pigs eating mixture of pumpkin seeds and stewed apple most enjoyable. Trudge back to house to tackle broken dishwasher plus contents (4 days old),spewing holiday suitcases concealing within mobile'phone,glasses,diary,house keys etc etc (7 days and counting),2 piles of wet but clean washing(3).Will not add to this list those old faithfuls, rampant moth problem,nits and unopened post.Dinner with v organised couple last night has just induced mood of sullen rebellion. Spotted on their pinboard incredibly bleak chart detailing their children's weekly activities and availability for playdates.One child constantly in demand,whizzing round the county on a stream of teas, the other,poor little sod,'available today' every day of the week. So casually cruel but so efficient. Will rewash already clean laundry thereby giving impression of progress. Housework - what's in it for me?
